It did a good job picking up pet hair, messes, and carpeting however it was more difficult in removing stubborn stains. The app was simple to use and intuitive. It was able to set up the vacuum to clean regularly to minimize the amount of manual work. It doesn't include the ability to avoid objects or map technology, which means it cannot be able to be directed to specific rooms or follow virtual borders (though magnetic boundaries can be used).
The V3S Pro is another model that is part of iRobot's affordable line. It offers some impressive features at a reasonable price. It topped all other robotic vacuums in our tests in terms of finding and avoiding obstacles and it's the best option for those who are looking for a smarter self-emptying robot vacuum that can handle pet hair and messes on both hardwood floors and low-pile carpeting. It's also very quiet and has a huge dust bin that holds lots of debris before it has to empty so you don't need to be concerned about having to empty it every time you use it.
The V3S Pro did not make it into our top choices lists of trusted sources who conduct hands-on tests, however it was praised by Modern Castle, Smart Robot Reviews and The Ambient. They appreciated how easy it was to set up and use, however they noted that the battery life was very short and it was unable to avoid some of the most difficult problems we've encountered.
